Eileen
Helping people to stress better.
Eileen is a certified Stress Management and Health & Wellness Coach. Before becoming a stress disrupter and joy seeker, she spent over 18 years as an HR professional. By combining her HR experience with her coaching expertise, she’s uniquely positioned to help individuals feel energized at work and in life, while managing stress more effectively.
With an Master's of Art in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Eileen's HR career covered everything from recruitment to total rewards, giving her a deep understanding of the stressors within the workforce and during career transitions. She now leverages this insight in her coaching practice, supporting clients in managing stress and building resilient lives across career, health, and wellness.
After years of challenging stress at work, Eileen discovered that baby steps will take you up the mountain. She gradually incorporated stretching and meditation into her daily routine, which evolved into a personalized morning and evening regimen that effectively reduces stress. Through trial and error, she found what works best for her and now feels more alive than ever. If asked, she feels most alive swimming laps, helping others thrive, and experimenting with new recipes in her free time.
Coaching Background
I am a certified Stress Management and Health & Wellness Coach through the Spencer Institute and A Wellness Revolution, which is accredited by NBHWC and ICF.
My commitment extends to becoming a National Board and ICF credentialed coach. In the pursuit of personal and professional growth, I am dedicated to continually enhancing my knowledge through ongoing education. This commitment is not only a reflection of my dedication to my own growth but also an acknowledgment of my responsibility to honor both my clients and the coaching field.
As an HR professional, I engaged in coaching conversations with staff, colleagues, and management members. Throughout these interactions, the objective was to drive organizational and cultural change by harnessing individuals' inherent strengths and motivations and leaning into the values of the organization.
The Meaning Behind Blackbird Life Coaching
Coaching delves into the narrative patterns we construct, which either block or engage us towards our future selves. Blackbird Life Coaching, inspired by The Beatles’ song “Blackbird,” weaves its own story. Beyond being a personal favorite, the song’s lyrics captures life’s raw authenticity. We all yearn to soar authentically, yet each of us bears a metaphorical “broken wing.” Through coaching, our aim is to strengthen that wing by leveraging inherent strengths, enabling us to redirect our lives towards one of fulfillment.
